My music drifts through shadowed corridors of electronic sound—born from deep house, but transformed by years spent shaping steel-edged drums, cyberpunk grit, and minimalist decay. I design sonic spaces that feel mechanical yet alive, laced with distorted textures, laser-burnt atmospheres, and melodies that echo like signals from a forgotten future.
I began producing music in Logic Pro X, building a foundation in composition and structure. From there, I explored FL Studio to deepen my understanding of mixing and workflow. Eventually, I found my creative home in Ableton Live, where I honed my sound design and arrangement techniques. Nearly every sound in my tracks is crafted from scratch using a focused palette of tools: Serum 2, Vital, the Kilohearts suite, and Ableton’s stock devices.
I produce music in the aforementioned style under the alias 2EAU (pronounced “2-O”). It may be a nod to H₂O, as well the French word eau meaning “water.” I was 20 (two-zero) years old when I came coined the name.
While my initial releasees are in progress, I post many snippets of my experiments and arrangements as Instagram shorts. Have a listen!
Outside of my main production workflow, I tap into a more melodic, jazzy, and experimental side using the iPhone app, Auxy. It’s a space where I let go of precision and lean into intuition, with rich chords, off-kilter grooves, and playful textures. These sketches often explore a softer, more fluid sound world, and offer a contrast to the darker, more industrial energy of my main work.
